Hi, I'm Paris Works.

Website Developer building modern web applications with Next.js, TypeScript, and Supabase.

I design and ship scalable, real-world products — from production restaurant websites on the Athens Riviera to a real-time multiplayer quiz platform for Greek students.

PanhelQuiz

A real-time quiz battle platform for Greek high school students — authentication, ELO ranking, matchmaking, leaderboards, and live multiplayer gameplay.

Problem

Greek high-school students prepare for Panhellenic exams alone, with boring PDFs and no way to measure themselves against peers. Motivation and consistency drop off fast.

Approach

Turn revision into a live 1v1 battle. Two students queue, get matched by ELO, play a timed round of curriculum-aligned questions, and see their ranking move in real time. Design borrows from chess.com and Kahoot but stays serious and exam-focused.

Stack decisions

Next.js + TypeScript for a typed, server-rendered app. Supabase Realtime channels handle matchmaking and per-round sync so I don't run a WebSocket server. Postgres RLS secures the question bank and scores. ELO recalculated server-side after each round so scores can't be spoofed.

Status

In active development — auth, matchmaking, live rounds and leaderboards working. Early access opening in 2026 to a closed beta of Greek high-school students.

THEROS

Theros by the Sea

Production website for a beachfront restaurant & bar on the Athens Riviera. Bilingual GR/EN, photo gallery, Google reviews, hours and map.

Problem

A new beachfront restaurant in Anávissos had zero online presence during peak season. Tourists and locals couldn't find hours, menu or how to reach it — bookings were leaking to competitors that ranked on Google.

Approach

One-page site with a strong sunset visual, bilingual copy in Greek and English, embedded Google reviews for social proof, click-to-call and click-to-map for tourists. Emphasis on shipping fast — live in production before the July weekends.

Stack decisions

Next.js for static export and instant loads on mobile (most traffic is on-the-beach phones). Native i18n for GR/EN with locale-aware URLs. Optimised images, semantic markup and structured data for the local Athens Riviera search terms.

Result

Live in production. First-page Google ranking for the local queries within weeks. Owner reports direct-booking calls came in from the site the same week it launched.

GoClosed

A privacy-first CRM for freelancers who cold-pitch with demos. Kanban pipeline with a unique "Demo Built" stage, pitch template vault, ⌘K command palette, and one-click outreach — all running locally.

Problem

Freelancers who cold-pitch with pre-built demos have a very specific workflow — but generic CRMs don't model it. Notion, Trello and HubSpot have no "Demo Built" stage, no pitch template vault, no one-click outreach with variables.

Approach

A single-purpose Kanban with 6 stages (Research → Demo Built → Pitched → Follow Up → Closed → Rejected), rich business records, a pitch template vault with {first_name}/{business}/{signature} variables, ⌘K command palette, drag-and-drop, and Today/Stats dashboards.

Stack decisions

Next.js + TypeScript, ~6,200 lines across 27 files. Local-first — all data stays in the browser, with auto-saved drafts and CSV/JSON export & import. Security-audited: CSP + security headers, patched a javascript: URL injection, kept current with Next.js CVEs.

Status

Fully working locally and verified. Cloud sync + accounts (the multi-device and monetization layer) are the next milestone.

About

Self-taught, shipping real products.

I'm a young, self-taught website developer based in Athens, Greece. I got into web development because I'm fascinated by how a well-built product can genuinely change a small business — or a student's day.

My focus is on modern, type-safe stacks: Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase and Postgres. I care about the parts you can feel — performance, clarity of interaction, and details that make a product feel finished rather than assembled.

Today I ship production sites for local businesses and I'm building PanhelQuiz, a real-time multiplayer quiz platform for Greek high-school students, end to end.
